When I met Jacquie I was a single mum to a three year old and a three month old. I had read a lot of parenting books and sleep training books, but was struggling to find my groove as a mother.Jacquie became a kind friend who helped me learn to follow my ‘mother instincts’ and bond with my children. She taught me baby-wearing with my ergo, supported me with breastfeeding, which was new territory to me after bottle feeding my older child. She showed me all about baby-led weaning and taught me safe co-sleeping techniques which meant I could finally get some sleep!
Jacquie has a well of information stored up in her that flows out naturally. She does not judge in anyway, but guides and supports in a nurturing manner.
Over the years Jacquie has been my go-to person for parenting advice. I have learnt so much through her from parenting techniques for ASD and gentle discipline to special diets and allergy friendly recipes.
When I went onto have my fourth baby due to complications I ended up having to bottle feed, she was a great support emotionally and brought me knowledge with how to still keep the bond and attachment. She also had plenty of knowledge of baby food purées recipes for Bub to get all the nutrients she needs.
Jacquie and her husband have raised four bright, strong, well-mannered and confident children who are a testament to their loving approach to parenting.
